Sunday Classes Booking Terms & Conditions
Version 1.1 · Effective 28 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms apply to Sunday classes supplied by Sporty Heroes Ltd (company number 17279814), registered office: Flat 3 Woodcock Court, Croxdale Road, Borehamwood, WD6 4PZ, England ("Sporty Heroes", "we", "us").
You can contact us at info@sporty-heroes.com or on 07731 950902.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when a parent or guardian books a one-off Taster or buys Sunday Membership through the Sporty Heroes website. By completing a paid booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 and have authority to make decisions for the child named in the booking.
Our current Sunday classes are 45-minute, age-appropriate multi-sport sessions for children aged approximately 18 months to 5 years. The class, venue, date and time shown during checkout form part of your booking.
3. Prices and payment
Taster: £11.99 for the specific session selected at checkout.
Membership: £44.99 per month. There is no joining fee.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. The total amount payable is shown before you are redirected to Stripe and before payment is submitted.
4. Taster bookings
A Taster reserves one child place at the specific Sunday session selected during booking. Places are capacity-limited.
If you need to change or cancel a Taster, contact us as soon as possible. Because a Taster is a leisure activity booked for a specific date, the statutory 14-day distance-selling cooling-off right does not normally apply to that specific dated booking. We may, where practical and subject to availability, agree to transfer a Taster to another suitable session.
This does not affect your statutory rights where Sporty Heroes cancels the session or fails to provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
5. Sunday Membership
Membership reserves a regular weekly place for the child in the selected age-appropriate Sunday class, subject to these terms and the class continuing to operate.
Membership is billed monthly through Stripe at £44.99. It is not a fixed-term contract and there is no exit fee.
Your child's class may change as they grow into the next Sporty Heroes age group. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice and place them into the appropriate available class.
6. Cancelling Membership
You may cancel Membership at any time by giving one month's rolling notice. Please send notice to info@sporty-heroes.com. Notice is treated as received when it reaches that inbox.
We will confirm the Membership end date and any final payment due. The child's regular place continues during the notice period. We will not intentionally charge for a period after the confirmed Membership end date; if an overpayment occurs, we will correct it.
Any statutory cancellation right that applies to an online Membership purchase is additional to, and is not restricted by, these terms.
7. Missed sessions and make-ups
There is no automatic cash refund or guaranteed make-up session if your child misses a Membership class.
Where we have another suitable, age-appropriate Sporty Heroes session with spare capacity, we may offer a make-up place. Make-up places must be agreed in advance, are for the same child only, do not have a cash value and are always subject to availability. Offering a make-up, transfer or credit in one situation does not create a right to the same arrangement on another occasion.
8. Parent or guardian attendance
Sporty Heroes Sunday classes are not a drop-off childcare service. A responsible parent or guardian must remain present and responsible for the child throughout the session.
You remain responsible for supervising the child outside the coached activity, for siblings or other children attending with you, and for following reasonable venue and safety instructions.
9. Health, allergies and additional needs
You must provide accurate information that is reasonably necessary for safe and inclusive participation, including relevant medical conditions, allergies, SEN or additional needs, and practical support information.
Please tell us if relevant information changes. If we reasonably believe we do not have enough information to provide a session safely, we may ask for more information, reasonable adjustments or for the child not to participate until the issue is resolved.
Health and additional-needs information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
10. Behaviour and safety
Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace. Parents and children must follow reasonable safety directions from coaches and venue staff.
We may pause or end a child's participation where behaviour creates a material safety risk to that child, other children, families or staff. We will act reasonably and, where appropriate, discuss adjustments or alternatives with the parent or guardian.
11. Photography and video
Photography and video permissions are separate from these terms. Saying no to photo or video use does not affect a child's ability to book or attend a class.
The permissions selected during booking remain the applicable permissions until changed by the parent or guardian. Contact us if you want to change them.
12. Changes or cancellations by Sporty Heroes
We may need to change a coach, activity, class time or venue for operational, safeguarding, safety or venue reasons. We will give as much notice as reasonably practicable.
If we cancel a paid Taster, we will offer a reasonable alternative session or a refund. If we cancel a Membership session, we may offer a replacement, catch-up or appropriate credit. If we permanently close a class or make a material change that means we can no longer provide the Membership you bought, you may end the Membership and we will refund any prepaid amount that relates to services we will not provide.
13. Payment problems
If a Membership payment fails, Stripe may retry the payment. We may contact you and may suspend the child's future place if payment remains overdue. We will not treat a temporary payment failure as permission to ignore amounts properly due under the Membership.
14. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Sporty Heroes is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses suffered by a consumer, or loss or damage caused by a parent's failure to follow reasonable safety instructions or provide relevant information, except where the law says otherwise.
15. Your statutory rights
These terms do not reduce any rights you have under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
16. Complaints
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at info@sporty-heroes.com. We will try to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. A change will not retrospectively alter a completed Taster booking. For an ongoing Membership, we will give reasonable notice of a material change before it takes effect. If a material change significantly disadvantages you, you may cancel before the change takes effect without an additional exit fee.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and court rights that apply where you live.
